It left the catalogue in the early 1980s, returned as Doo-Wop in 2012 in new colours and brass, and gained a copper edition in 2017. The form is closely tied to the New Look of the 1950s.

The shades are still spun by hand and finished with a rolled edge that gives them visual volume. A white lacquered inner cone directs soft light downwards; the outer shade, lit through an opening in the cone, spreads diffused light up and down.

At Ø 28.3 cm, it suits a dining table, kitchen or hallway.
