Cinzia Ruggeri designed it in 2000: upright it can be read as a signal to stop or as a casual greeting, and laid down horizontally it becomes a chair with fingers like tentacles.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRuggeri worked across fashion, design and art from the late 1960s and treated clothes, furniture and interiors as exceptions to the rules of how such things should be made. She saw her objects as extensions of their owner's identity rather than things to put on display. Together with Cane Pipì and Colombra, Mano is among the pieces that sum up her approach, and it entered the Gufram catalogue in 2025. Ruggeri herself kept a Gufram Cactus at home.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe sculpture is upholstered in velvet, measures 135 cm wide and 31 cm deep and weighs 60 kg. Gufram lists it as a limited edition of 25 pieces.
