He imagined a body lying on such a sheet as if floating above the ground. The PMR chaise longue is the result.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTwo thin, flexible steel sheets run side by side with a gap between them, so the spine is free and the body rests on its muscles. A small round cushion supports the neck. Cross bars under the sheets allow three different reclining angles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA rare piece by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect, made in small numbers.
