Louis Poulsen asked him for a lamp that would work in rooms of different sizes and be easy to install, to maintain and to change bulbs in.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shade is a single body of mouth-blown white opal glass on a drawn steel pendant tube. The quality of the glass lets the whole surface glow evenly and spread soft, general light into the room, while the opening at the bottom sends more concentrated light downwards. The lamp can be hung high or low.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSuited to dining tables, living rooms and bedrooms.
