UTIL is a young design brand from Lisbon, founded in 2017 by Manuel Amaral Netto and Tomás Carvalhas. Their focus is on durable and functional storage furniture made from high-quality materials. Inspired by the simplicity of everyday life and the need to focus on the essentials, UTIL develops furniture that has the motto "useful" - the name means this in Portuguese. Their simple, architecturally influenced collections are designed to last a lifetime and adapt flexibly to the needs of an ever-changing environment. The collaboration with international designers and production in Portugal combine fine craftsmanship with industrial production.
