The Rivet Typecase is a divided aluminum shelf with discrete sections designed to store and display your most valuable objects. Based on a riveting technique suitable for creating right-angle connections between separate, laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the product is assembled by hand with a hammer in a cold-form assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011.
About the Rivet Series
Based on a historically known hand-building technique, the Rivet series consists of laser-cut raw aluminum sheets that are then connected using a hand-hammering technique. A symbiosis of craftsmanship and industrial production, the Rivet series of aluminum storage furniture and tables is a celebration of honesty and materiality.
