The Plié floor element is part of the Plié shelving system, which won the German Design Award in 2019, and offers simple solutions for organizing, presenting and storing items. Designed by Cesare Bizzotto and Tobias Nitsche, the floor element is designed to use the least possible amount of powder-coated aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet extremely stable structure. This means each unit can be assembled using just a handful of components.
The floor unit is characterized by its versatility as a low cabinet: it offers a slim frame for displaying objects such as vinyl records and books. Its low height also creates additional wall space and gives every room a certain lightness.
