The Plié bookcase is part of the Plié shelving system, which won the German Design Award in 2019 and offers uncomplicated solutions for organizing, displaying and storing items. Designed by Cesare Bizzotto and Tobias Nitsche, the bookcase is characterized by the use of a minimal amount of powder-coated aluminum, which, when folded, creates a light but extremely robust structure. This allows each unit to be built with just a few components.
Although its function is obvious, the bookcase offers the opportunity to display and showcase a wide range of objects: from books to tableware to memorabilia and ceramics.
