The stainless steel tray number 1302 by Verner Panton, part of Georg Jensen's Icons series, is a true work of art. Its design, reminiscent of crumpled foil, was originally made in silver in 1988 and exudes a fascinating vibrancy.
Despite the crumpled and seemingly random design, every facet of Panton's tray is thoughtful. It is stable and the cleverly designed recesses offer space for a variety of items. The tray is ideal as a decorative object and can also be used to serve bread, sweets, fruit or other small items. Their unique, lively look gives every room a special charm.
The smaller version of the 1302 tray shares the same affinity for pop art as its larger counterpart. It can serve as a decorative element as well as for storing chocolate, jewelry, keys or other small utensils.
Verner Panton, one of the defining figures of modern design, has made Denmark a center for exclusive and innovative furnishings with his work, which continues to shape creative thinking today. Tray number 1302 is part of his masterful artistic legacy, first realized in stainless steel by Georg Jensen.
