Mirror lounge chair

The brutalist and minimalist form of this lounge chair complements and reflects the interior. The reflective surface is a real eye-catcher and allows it to blend into the surrounding space.

"The choice of mirrored glass underscores the expectation that this piece might be too fragile to support the weight of whoever dares to sit down; the sense of relief and, in most cases, joy sets in as soon as someone leans into the back of the chair.

Inspired by various artworks dealing with reflections, we wanted to create a functional piece of furniture that becomes a decorative object that absorbs and influences its own environment.

The shape of the lounge chair is based on the Brutalist movement of the 20th century and contrasts with its hard lines and soft appearance as it seems to dissolve into the world around it. We are very proud that this piece has been selected, among others, in the book Sight Unseen Year 2021 and has appeared in various magazines such as AD France and Elle Decoration."
