Moon RAW: A Collaboration Between Pedestal and industrialkonzept

von @industrialkonzept Team

Moon RAW marks the meeting point between Nordic modular design and industrial material clarity. Created in collaboration between Pedestal and industrialkonzept, the piece reimagines Pedestal’s iconic Moon Rollin’ in raw-polished steel — a reinterpretation that emphasizes tactility, geometry, and presence.

The surface remains intentionally honest, revealing traces of production and subtle tonal variations. Every mark becomes part of the design, celebrating material authenticity rather than concealment.

With its industrial roller wheels and sculptural silhouette, Moon RAW bridges function and art — a utilitarian object that shapes the atmosphere of a space.

“With Moon RAW, we wanted to blur the line between function and sculpture,” says Kristian Fæste, Head of Brand & Marketing at Pedestal.
“At industrialkonzept, we believe beauty lies in the material — in its raw presence,” adds Johannes Stumpf of industrialkonzept. “Together with Pedestal, we’ve crafted a piece that bridges industrial strength and sculptural poise.”

The accompanying images were captured by Pieter Peulen, an interior designer and photographer based east of Brussels. Known for his concrete residence inspired by the architectural work of Tadao Andō, Peulen explores the interplay between light, geometry, and material honesty — values that closely mirror those of Moon RAW.

His home, characterized by exposed concrete, precise forms, and a serene balance between structure and nature, provides a fitting backdrop for the piece. In his photographs, Moon RAW is not only documented but contextualized — existing naturally within a space that shares its architectural restraint and quiet strength.

Available in limited numbers from mid-October 2025, Moon RAW will be offered exclusively through industrialkonzept and Pedestal.
