The Rivet Case impresses with its solid and versatile design. It can be placed both vertically and horizontally, serving as a table, storage space or display area. Based on a riveting technique suitable for creating right-angled joints between separate laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, the case is assembled by hand with a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach in 2011.
About the Rivet series
Based on a historically known hand-building technique, the Rivet series consists of laser-cut raw aluminum sheets, which are then joined by a hand-hammering technique. A symbiosis of craftsmanship and industrial production, the Rivet series of aluminum storage furniture and tables is a celebration of honesty and materiality.
