Serax x Marni

Marni, the Italian luxury fashion house, has ventured into tableware through a collaboration with Belgian design label Serax, resulting in the “Midnight Flowers” collection. Unveiled at Salone del Mobile in 2023, this ensemble includes plates, bowls, teapots, cups, and saucers, all featuring slightly asymmetrical forms that emphasize the handcrafted touch. Creative Director Francesco Risso infused the collection with Marni’s dynamic essence, adorning each porcelain piece with colorful, hand-illustrated botanical motifs in hues of mauve, teal, rose, and lime, reminiscent of the brand’s ready-to-wear floral patterns. This collaboration aims to reawaken the tablescape with quirky elegance and playful energy, offering a sophisticated yet offbeat addition to Marni’s design repertoire.
