Nocs Design and HELIOT EMIL Team Up for a Collaboration on the Monolith Speaker

by @industrialkonzept Team

Lund, Sweden – Nocs Design and HELIOT EMIL have come together to create a limited-edition steel speaker that embodies the essence of both brands—minimalism, precision, and timeless design.

The product came to life through a series of creative sessions between Nocs Design founder Daniel Alm and HELIOT EMIL co-founder Julius Juul at the HELIOT EMIL Studio in Copenhagen. Their shared fascination with steel and its raw, industrial aesthetic became a cornerstone of the design, along with a commitment to minimalism. This collaboration combines form and function in a speaker that stands out for its clean, modern lines and uncompromising craftsmanship.

This release marks the first limited edition of Monolith since its original launch in December 2022. Each speaker is hand-made in Sweden, with the final assembly taking place at the Nocs Lab headquarters in Lund, Sweden. By limiting production runs, Nocs Design ensures that every unit undergoes meticulous craftsmanship and quality control, delivering flawless design and performance each and every time.

The stainless steel speaker, Monolith, offers an array of streaming options, including Apple® AirPlay 2®, Bluetooth 5.0, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and is also compatible with the Nocs Design Music App—ensuring seamless connectivity for any audio experience.

"I’m thrilled to share that Nocs Design and HELIOT EMIL have come together to create a limited-edition stainless steel speaker that truly captures the spirit of both brands. When I met Julius Juul, HELIOT EMIL’s creative director, we dove into a space of pure creativity at their studio in Copenhagen. We explored our mutual fascination with steel—its raw, industrial character—and combined that with our shared commitment to minimalism. The result? A speaker that merges form and function with clean, modern lines and uncompromising craftsmanship."
- Daniel Alm

This collaboration represents the perfect blend of HELIOT EMIL’s innovative fashion approach and Nocs Design’s dedication to high-fidelity sound, celebrating both the raw beauty of steel and the power of minimalism.

The limited-edition Monolith Speaker from the collaboration between Nocs Design and HELIOT EMIL is available on both the HELIOT EMIL and Nocs Design websites for 5000 USD / 5000 EUR.

The original Monolith Speaker design, which retails for 2000 EUR, is available on industrialkonzept.com here.
