CALIPER’s second internally developed homeware product, DUO 105 are dual-function vessels crafted from extruded aluminum profiles and precisely machined using CNC lathes. The design draws inspiration from the heat sinks used in electronic circuitry and liquid cooling systems. DUO 105 can be used as either a wine chiller, vase or decorative object.
The piece consists of a main body, a threaded base with an integrated rubber gasket to ensure a watertight seal, and a bottle stand that rests on a silicone ice puck to keep bottles cool. The stand and ice puck can be easily removed, while the base can be unscrewed for thorough cleaning. When not used as a chiller, the object can be repurposed as a vase.
Produced in two anodized colours, black and silver, each piece is individually numbered.
