Formafantasma

Formafantasma is a research-driven design studio founded in 2009 by Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin. Working from product design to spatial interventions, the studio questions established norms and places its work within wider debates on materials and culture, in collaboration with Prada, Flos, Artek, Fondation Cartier and other institutions.

This first comprehensive monograph, edited by Alessandro Rabottini, surveys the studio's portfolio and combines extensive interviews with Trimarchi and Farresin with contributions from writers, curators and designers including Paola Antonelli, Alice Rawsthorn, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Hella Jongerius. It has 352 pages, 290 by 214 mm.
