Cobra - Carafe

The Cobra carafe translates the curving silhouette of Constantin Wortmann's Cobra collection for Georg Jensen into clear glass. Without the reflections of polished steel, the organic form becomes transparent and the liquid inside becomes part of the object.

The narrow neck makes the carafe easy to hold and pour. It holds up to 0.75 litres of water, juice or wine and stands 29 cm high. Wortmann designs by the principle that form follows emotion and that design need not take itself too seriously.
