This Cobra bowl by Constantin Wortmann looks as if the surface of a liquid had been set in steel: its curves seem to shift with the viewpoint and the light. The mirror-polished stainless steel reflects the room, so the bowl holds its own on a table even when empty.
With a diameter of 19.1 cm it suits snacks and sweets, and its shape makes it easy to lift and pass around. The design dates from 2013 and belongs to Georg Jensen's Cobra collection, which Wortmann approaches with a deliberate lightness and humour.
