The bottle opener is where the Georg Jensen elephant began. Jørgen Møller designed it in 1987 together with his grandchild, reducing the animal to a flat, compact silhouette whose trunk and body form the opening edge.
The opener became one of the company's best-known pieces and was followed by elephant money banks, cutlery, picture frames and a keyring. It is made from aluminium, light at 95 g, and fits into a drawer or hangs on a hook in the kitchen or at the bar.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
