A champagne sabre in mirror-polished stainless steel from the Indulgence series by Helle Damkjær for Georg Jensen. The blade is completely blunt: the bottle is held at about 20 degrees and the blunt side slid along the body towards the neck, where the impact breaks the glass and separates collar and cork.
Let a little champagne flow to rinse away loose shards and check the first glass. Keep the sabre and opened bottles away from children and animals, and never drink from a sabred bottle.
