Pitcher 02 was first made in sterling silver in 1975 by Henning Koppel together with the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Copenhagen. Georg Jensen now reissues it for the first time in stainless steel, with a surface polished by hand for hours to a mirror finish.
The piece carries the organic, sculptural forms for which Koppel's pitchers became known. At 10.7 cm high and 17.1 cm long, it is the smaller of the two reissued pitchers; Pitcher 03 is the larger.
