Pitcher 03 was first made in sterling silver in 1962 by Henning Koppel together with the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Copenhagen. Georg Jensen now reissues it for the first time in stainless steel, with a surface polished by hand for hours to a mirror finish.
Its sculptural outline shows the organic forms for which Koppel's pitchers became known. At 20.3 cm high and 23.7 cm long, it is the larger of the two reissued pitchers; Pitcher 02 is the smaller.
