These white porcelain plates were first designed in the 1960s by Henning Koppel, the Danish designer and long-time Georg Jensen collaborator. The dinnerware was Koppel's first work in porcelain and marked a turning point in his career. Georg Jensen now produces it for the first time, using contemporary techniques that make the pieces sturdy for daily use.
The plates come as side plate (16 cm), lunch plate (22 cm), deep plate for pasta or risotto and dinner plate (27 cm), individually or as sets of four. The dinner plate is also available with a decor of blue watercolour brushstrokes, a reference to Koppel's habit of adding blue accents to his sketches. All plates are dishwasher safe.
