The Layout Armchair 224, designed for HAY by Julien Renault, combines comfort, functionality, and long-term durability. Its open backrest creates a lighter expression, while the fully upholstered seat and back add a soft, welcoming feel. The rounded wooden legs provide stability and a natural touch, and all components are designed for disassembly to support refurbishment and extend the chair’s lifespan.

The shell is made from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic, and the wooden base is available in several wood types. The upholstery can be specified in a wide range of fabrics or olive-leaf tanned leather, making the chair suitable for both professional and home environments.
