The Shortwave dish rack by HAY reimagines the everyday dish drainer with a contemporary touch. Created by designer Leon Ransmeier, its wave-like form recalls the rhythm of radio signals. A tray beneath catches excess water, while the removable rack makes it simple to empty and clean.
Leon Ransmeier is an American industrial designer and founder of Ransmeier Inc. in New York. A graduate of RISD, his work is held in the collections of SFMOMA and the Corning Museum of Glass. Known for his hands-on approach and belief that “use follows form,” he has created the Revolver Collection and the Shortwave Dish Rack for HAY.
