The latest issue of Heimburger Magazine comes in a larger format, with around 60 more pages than last year and a refreshed design — dedicated to architecture, design, and the creative people who inspire contemporary culture.
Among them is Eva Lys.
Currently Germany’s top-ranked tennis player, she has just entered the world’s Top 50 — and caught attention far beyond the court: with a clear voice, a creative use of social media, and an authenticity that feels rare in professional sports. For the cover story, she speaks about life on tour, how she deals with pressure, and what sparked her fascination with Anthony Bourdain.
The issue also features in-depth conversations with Vincent Van Duysen, Gonzalez Haase, Justin Howlett, Sigurd Larsen, and Annalen & Ana Vollenbroich (Nidus) — each sharing their personal perspective on space, atmosphere, and aesthetics.
Further contributions by Aloisa Ruf, Valentin Betz, and Marvin Schuhmann of Public Possession, Anna Kuen, Johannes Stumpf (industrialkonzept), and Diandra Donecker (Grisebach) expand the dialogue toward art, music, and contemporary culture.
In the Watchlist section, Heimburger looks ahead and spotlights emerging names such as Emanuel Sax, Isabella & Leah of Blomlab, Malte van der Meyden, Dima & Guy, and Vanessa Heepen — designers shaping the next wave of creative expression.
