HAY New Order Combination 304 is a bookcase configuration with closed storage made from lacquered oak panels and sliding doors. With three compartments, it offers a practical way to keep items neatly concealed and dust-free. The sliding doors feature a circular cut-out handle for easy use.

Developed with designer Stefan Diez, the New Order System is a modular table and shelving series designed to adapt to the changing needs of contemporary living and working spaces. Its open-grid aluminium framework works with a wide range of components, allowing countless configurations to suit your layout.

New Order can display or conceal items, sit against a wall or act as a room divider, and can be assembled or disassembled with ease — ideal if you move or frequently reconfigure your space. The high-strength extruded aluminium construction also supports heavier loads than most minimal shelving systems, making it perfect for large books or vinyl collections.

If you’d like to adapt, extend, or design a similar setup, we can create a bespoke solution. You can also plan your own layout using the HAY New Order Configurator and send us your component list.
