New Order Shelving - Combination 502

HAY developed the New Order System with designer Stefan Diez. It’s a modular table and shelving system designed to adapt to the changing needs of contemporary living and working spaces. The open-grid aluminium framework works with a wide range of components, allowing countless configurations to suit your layout.

New Order can display or conceal items, sit against a wall or function as a room divider, and can be assembled or taken apart with ease — ideal if you move or regularly reconfigure your home. Its high-strength extruded aluminium also supports heavier loads than most minimal shelving systems, making it perfect for large books or vinyl collections.

This listing is for Combination 502 — a bookcase with integrated storage near the base, created from selected components. The closed compartment is accessed via sliding steel panels that open almost fully, allowing you to store even long or oversized items with ease.
