The Plié floor element is part of the German Design Award 2019-winning Plié shelving system, which offers simple solutions for organizing, displaying and storing items. Designed by Cesare Bizzotto and Tobias Nitsche, the floor element uses a minimal amount of powder-coated aluminum, resulting in a lightweight but very robust structure. This allows each unit to be assembled with just a few components.
As a low cabinet, the floor element offers versatile uses: It serves as an elegant frame for displaying objects such as vinyl records and books. Its low height also frees up wall space and adds a certain lightness to any room.
