The Standing Lamp Marble by Muller Van Severen translates the studio’s familiar hanging-lamp language into a floor-standing form, balancing two slender metal arms on a solid marble base. True to the designers’ approach for valerie_objects, it reads almost like a line drawing in space, pairing a restrained, graphic presence with a soft, intimate light. The two arms are set at different heights and can be adjusted independently: one positioned for illumination at a table, the other for reading in a lounge chair, giving the piece both sculptural clarity and everyday usability.
