Embodying the designer Jonathan Muecke’s meticulous approach to design, Wood Box Coffee Table is a compact table that blends artistic sensibility with precision. Crafted in solid oak with careful attention to proportion and details, the design’s puzzle-like construction and seamless joints spark curiosity about its distinct appearance. Available with different finishes, the table naturally blends into most settings – as a small coffee table or bedside cabinet, or simply displayed as a sculptural piece of art.
Jonathan Muecke (b. 1983, Wyoming) is an American designer and architect. After studying architecture at Iowa State University and working with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, he completed his design degree at Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2010. Recipient of awards such as the USA Knight Fellowship, his work has been shown in leading museums and galleries worldwide. Moving between art, design, and architecture, Muecke explores space, materiality, and repetition with refined, detail-driven forms.
