Claustrum
Founded in 2004 by industrial designer and architect Takeshi Endo, Claustrum is a Tokyo-based studio crafting precision metal objects from its workshop in Ginza. Each piece reflects a fusion of mechanical discipline and sculptural minimalism — engineered with the obsessive care of Japanese craft. Working primarily in high-strength stainless steel, Claustrum’s objects feature refined finishes such as Hair Line, Concrete Matte, and Vibration. Developed, assembled, and hand-finished entirely in Tokyo, every design carries the quiet authority of enduring material and meticulous construction.
