Moneyphant - Money Bank - Matte

The Moneyphant goes back to an elephant Jørgen Møller drew with his grandchild in 1987, first for a bottle opener and later for cutlery, picture frames and a keyring. In 2010 Møller worked with his great-grandchild on the money bank, reducing the animal to a clear, instantly recognisable silhouette.

This version is made from stainless steel with a matte surface. It is meant as a first money bank for children, to make saving a small ritual, and stands just as well on a shelf as a decorative object.
