The Layout Armchair 212, designed for HAY by Julien Renault, is shaped by a focus on comfort and durability. Its open backrest enhances seating comfort while giving the chair a lighter, more transparent expression. A plywood seat, available in several finishes, introduces natural warmth, while slim tubular legs provide both stability and elegance. Each component has been designed for disassembly, extending the chair’s lifespan and enabling refurbishment over time.
The shell is made from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and offered in a wide range of colours. The frame comes in a choice of chrome or powder-coated finishes, allowing for easy customisation to suit different interiors. Suitable for offices, restaurants, institutions, or home settings, the Layout Armchair 212 is a versatile seating choice. Choose your preferred materials and finishes, then order today to create a chair that works for your space.
