P-L 01 Chair

The P-L Series is designed by the Scottish-Swedish designer Nick Ross for NIKO JUNE. It is based on the post-and-lintel system, a building principle used in ancient Greek, Indian and Egyptian architecture, in which vertical posts carry horizontal beams.

The P-L 01 Chair translates this principle into a chair: posts form the legs and back, a flat plate forms the seat. The series also includes the P-L 02 Stool and the P-L 04 Chair.
