Designed by Hanspeter Weidmann in 1984 during his studies at the Schule für Gestaltung Basel, this storage system was among the first of its kind made from sheet steel. With a depth of just 16 cm, it provides a compact yet practical solution for organising narrow entrance areas without taking up unnecessary space. A central tilting mechanism allows all compartments to open or close simultaneously, keeping shoes and everyday items discreetly stored while maintaining easy access.
The design is offered in several predefined configurations, making it suitable for a range of use cases. Custom solutions—both in layout and finish—can also be produced on request. A selection of colorways is available, allowing the system to be integrated into a variety of spatial and aesthetic contexts.
