The Aluminium Shelf System by Andreas Christen was first made by Lehni for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition and has been part of the collection since 1970. It is built from folded aluminium sheet: light, very stable for its weight and without visible screws on the front. Nickel-plated cross braces keep it rigid.
This lowboard is a unit 75 cm high, 88 cm wide and 33 cm deep with two compartments, for records, books or a sound system. Choose it open, with sliding doors or with slide-in doors that flip up and slide back into the compartment, and stand it on feet or on casters.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
