The Aluminium Shelf System by Andreas Christen was first made by Lehni for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition and has been part of the collection since 1970. It is built from folded aluminium sheet: light, very stable for its weight and without visible screws on the front. Nickel-plated cross braces keep it rigid.
This narrow shelf is a single unit 180 cm high and 44 cm wide with five shelves, for alcoves, hallways and the space beside a door. Choose a depth of 25 cm or 33 cm and add a back panel or a slide-in door in the bottom compartment if you like. The slide-in door flips up and slides back into the compartment.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
