The Aluminium Shelf System by Andreas Christen was first made by Lehni for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition and has been part of the collection since 1970. It is built from folded aluminium sheet: light, very stable for its weight and without visible screws on the front. Nickel-plated cross braces keep it rigid.
This shelf wall joins two units, each 180 cm high and 88 cm wide, into one piece almost 177 cm wide, with five shelves per unit. Choose a depth of 25 cm or 33 cm and, if you like, back panels. More units can be added on either side at any time.
