The Aluminium Shelf System by Andreas Christen was first made by Lehni for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition and has been part of the collection since 1970. It is built from folded aluminium sheet: light, very stable for its weight and without visible screws on the front. Nickel-plated cross braces keep it rigid.
This tall shelf is a single unit 220 cm high and 88 cm wide with seven shelves, for a lot of books in little floor space. Choose a depth of 25 cm or 33 cm and, if you like, a back panel. The shelves move in a 2.5 cm grid and the feet are height-adjustable.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
