This 4 piece Mono A set includes table spoon, table fork, table knife (long blade) and tea spoon.
Mono A marks the beginning of Mono’s history. Designer Peter Raacke developed this reduced form for Herbert Seibel at the end of the 1950s to create timeless flatware that could be made simply and sustainably. Launched in 1959, its radical simplicity at first did not appeal to retailers or customers. Fourteen years later, in 1973, Mono A received the Federal Prize for Good Form. Today it is celebrated as a design classic with dozens of awards for its lasting aesthetic and relevance.
Made of 18/10 stainless steel, the knife blade uses hardened steel for long cutting durability and all pieces are dishwasher safe. The original short knife by Raacke is joined by a longer blade option and a range of serving tools from salad to cake server and snail fork. Each piece comes in a satin brushed finish or in mirror polish. You can try Mono A at home before choosing it as your everyday flatware.
