A shallow stainless steel bowl for setting down the tea strainer once the tea has brewed. Both sizes were designed in-house at Mono, the small one in 1998 and the large one in 1999.
The small rest (Ø 10.5 cm) goes with the Mono Filio teapots of 0.6 L. The large rest (Ø 14 cm) goes with the Mono Classic teapots and the Mono Filio teapots of 1.5 L. For the Mono Ellipse teapot there is a separate strainer rest.
