On an Eiermann table the top simply rests on the frame. Rubber stoppers sit in the open ends of the legs and give the top a non-slip grip, so it stays in place when you lean on it or push against it. Richard Lampert recommends them for every Eiermann table.
There are two versions: one for the frame at its basic height of 66 cm, and one for extension rods. If you chose your frame with extension rods, choose the version for extension rods.
Extension rods come with plain plastic end caps, which close the tubes but do not hold the top. Rubber stoppers take their place and grip the underside of the top.
A set contains four stoppers, one for each leg.
