The FJ Elements is one of the few lamps designed by the Danish architect Finn Juhl. He drew it in 1963 and described it in his sketches as being composed of ‘elements’, which gave the lamp its name. Louis Poulsen reintroduced the pendant in 2025, together with a table version and the original two-tone grey colourway.
Two deep-drawn aluminium shades sit one above the other and can be turned against each other, changing both the direction of the light and the outline of the lamp. A polycarbonate diffuser sends a glare-free light downwards, while a narrow gap between the upper shade and the housing lets a little light escape upwards.
With a diameter of 25 cm, it suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a bedroom. Available in Original Grey, white and black, matt wet-painted, with a 4 m textile cord.
