Keglen started in 2017 as a collaboration between Louis Poulsen and BIG Ideas, the design team around Bjarke Ingels and Jakob Lange. It grew out of a pendant for BIG's Tirpitz Museum in Blåvand and became a family built on one geometry, the cone.
The wall lamp uses the shade of the Ø 17.5 cm Keglen pendant, angled so that one side of the cone runs parallel to the wall, which carries the light further into the room. A curved diffuser inside the shade reduces glare while leaving a view into it, and a narrow opening at the top lets some light upwards. Mounted pointing down, it lights a specific spot; mounted pointing up, it gives indirect light. The head turns 45° to either side.
Switch and stepless dimmer sit on the wall box. It comes with a 2.4 m cord and plug or can be hardwired. In white or black, with 3000 K or dim-to-warm LED (2700–2000 K).

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
