LC Shutters is a pendant designed by Louise Campbell in 2012. The shade starts as a flat sheet of aluminium that is worked into a bell shape; its pattern is cut and pressed so that it forms two interacting layers. At 3 mm thick, the shade makes for a solid fixture, intended for homes as well as public spaces.
Most of the light is directed downwards. An opal glass diffuser surrounds the bulb, so the lamp is glare-free and keeps the same light distribution with different light sources. Light passing through the perforations makes the shade glow softly and traces its outline, whether the lamp is on or off, and the diffuser remains visible from below.
At Ø 44 cm, it suits a dining table or a living room or bedroom. Finished in white, with an E27 socket and a 3 m cord.

Care
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
