Moser Pendant Lamp

Swedish ceramic artist Anu Moser designed this pendant in 2002. Its shapes come from watching molten glass in the first moments of blowing, as it begins to swell into form. She closed the drop shape completely so the bulb cannot be seen from any angle; the lamp was conceived for energy-saving bulbs.

The shade is mouth-blown, matt white opal glass. Its thickness spreads the light evenly and gives a soft, diffused glow without glare. The suspension is machine-polished aluminium and uses a patented mounting mechanism.

Three sizes, Ø 18.5, 20.5 and 25 cm, suited to hanging over a dining table or in a kitchen, hallway, living room or bedroom. Each takes one E27 bulb.
