The NJP Mini is the smallest lamp in the NJP family, which the Japanese studio Nendo, led by Oki Sato, began designing for Louis Poulsen in 2015. Introduced in 2022, it takes the NJP Table, a contemporary reading of the classic architect lamp, down to a compact 41.5 cm.
The arm is fixed at 15° and turns 342° around the steel base, while the aluminium head tilts and rotates through an opening at the back of the shade. Its white-painted inside spreads the light widely and without glare. A single button on the head switches the light on and off with a soft fade and dims it steplessly from 15 to 100 %; an optional timer turns it off after four or eight hours.
It fits on a bedside table, windowsill, shelf or small desk. The powder-coated finish comes in seven colours: Black, White, Light Aluminium Grey, Brown Rose, Soft Pink, Taupe and Petrol Blue.

Care
| Steel | Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Powder-coated surfaces tolerate a mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners. Raw steel can develop a patina and is best kept dry. |
|---|---|
| Aluminium | Clean with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then dry. Avoid abrasive sponges and acidic or alkaline cleaners. Raw aluminium may darken slightly over time. |
