The PH 2/2 Wall Lamp Centenary Edition marks one hundred years of the three-shade system Poul Henningsen developed in 1926, the principle behind hundreds of his lamps. It belongs to his “whole” sizes: the top shade measures about 20 cm and the three shades follow the proportions 3:2:1, a compact form intended to stay glare-free even when mounted high on the wall.
The upper shade is mouth-blown, four-layered amber glass, the two lower shades are three-layered white opal glass. All are glossy outside and sandblasted matt white inside, so soft, diffused light falls downwards while the amber top sends a warm glow upwards. Arm and wall box are aged brass, lacquered to preserve the patina.
Suited to living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. Available with a 2.5 m dark brown textile cord, plug and switch on the wall box, or without cord for hardwiring, with or without switch.

Care
| Glass | Clean with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or water with a drop of detergent. Mouth-blown and coloured glass is best washed by hand. |
|---|---|
| Brass | Untreated brass develops a natural patina. Dust with a dry cloth; to restore the shine use a brass polish. Lacquered brass only needs a soft, dry cloth. |
