PH 3½-3 Metal Pendant Lamp

On Poul Henningsen's 120th birthday on September 9, Louis Poulsen will launch a new product – the PH 3½-3 pendant lamp. The PH 3½-3 pendant lamp was developed based on Poul Henningsen's original drawings from the late 1920s and early 1930s, based on his well-known 3-shade system. The lamp was designed with metal shades in green, yellow, red, and white. The suspension is satin brown and made of copper. All colors originate from Poul Henningsen's color universe, and like the man himself, the lamps are colorful! As an additional detail, all shades have a rolled, white lacquered edge that further emphasizes the familiar profile of the 3-shade lamp. This creates an appealing visual symmetry. The shades are drawn at Louis Poulsen's factory in Vejen. This process is carried out by Louis Poulsen's own craftsmen. It is also a craft that only a few have mastered. Even though the design is more than 80 years old, the lamp is as modern as it is classic, making it suitable for a wide range of interior design solutions.
